3/26/2002 Mare
Gold Lode was rescued in 2012 with a group of horses at risk of crossing the border to a slaughter house in Mexico. She had just weaned a foal and came to us still with a heavy bag and in need of weight. The photos shown here were taken not long after her arrival. Gold Lode is extremely gentle and easy to handle. She has overall great conformation. She is sound and ready to start a new life. This mare exudes class and has an incredible presence. I believe she has been through a great deal and has plenty to offer someone. She’s a very smart mare, comfortable and settled. She has all the keys to success, just needs someone to unlock the door. Gold Lode is not a particularly huge TB. She stands approximately 15.3H.
Gold Lode has just been started under saddle and is ready for a new job. Goldy is going under saddle nicely. She needs some more work to soften her mouth but she is a good forward, and willing ride and just adores attention and grooming.
