Ryder Yearling Filly 303 "American Honey"

Filly 303 was very underweight and fragile when she arrived. She has since put on weight and began to really blossom.  Honey is approaching 15h.  In Summer, 2015, Honey has recovered from EPM.  She is a little harder to keep weight on this summer in the extreme heat but she has stayed healthy overall.   Honey is in the middle of the herd and not is an assertive horse.  She will be striking with her flaxen mane.  Scroll through her photo album to compare her current photos with intake.  Thanks to TJ Shuflin Photography for the beautifully composed intake shots and for covering vet day for us in January.

Huge thank you to Equine Health & Performance for sending us a round of LivImmune C to help stabilize her while she underwent treatment.  We believe a number of the Ryder herd were exposed to EPM before we got them and have battled this off and on.  Billy made a similar spiral this past Winter and successfully overcame his illness with the same course of treatment we are using for this girl.  Sammy (55) and 31 also became ill with EPM.
