Three Year Old Gelding 8

This gelding is one of 38 horses surrendered to LHRA in January 2013. Among the 38 horses there was a group of what looked like weanlings at the time. That group turned out to be yearlings - foals of 2012. The youngsters were emaciated and had not been handled at all.

At left are his after and before videos!

This yearling’s caregivers say he is a total sweetheart, nice to handle and the largest of the herd. "Eight-ball" is an easy keeper. He is already bigger than all of his three year old pasture mates. He will need a home that can provide  solid training and a foundation for success.

*This is a very special and sweet boy! He was totally wild when he arrived but is very trusting now. He does have a small growth near his elbow that the vets have said is superficial. It does not affect his gait at all. Adoption fees are being waived for LHRA members. To become a member, visit our online membership page and join today.
