"Annie" ALITTLEBITSUPERIOR

Annie was born in Texas in 1987,and had her first start at Louisiana Downs in 1989. Her racing name was ALITTLEBITSUPERIOR, and she’s lived up to it. She won her very first race, a Maiden Special Weight. She raced through 1991, ending her career with 21 starts, 4 firsts, 4 seconds and 2 thirds. Having won $64,015 over her career she retired into a breeding program. Annie produced several foals, four of whom won over $100k. In 2005 she foaled a filly by Stormy Atlantic who went on to make Louisiana racing history. That filly, Superior Storm, won over $1,000, 000.00. Annie retired from breeding 2011 - she was 24 years old. When she stepped off the trailer at the LHRA intake farm she had a regal air about her - as though she knew she was a special mare. One volunteer who handled her that first day had no knowledge who she was but made the comment that she must have been a very special horse because she acted like she was royalty. She is healthy and content in her role babysitting the young horses. She spends her days teaching the youngsters horse etiquette, reminiscing about her racing days and proudly bragging on her champion progeny, Superior Storm.. Annie needs a sponsor to support her luxurious lifestyle which includes grazing plenty of fresh sweet grass, delicately devouring two sweet feed meals a day and of course politely taking treats. She has requested a daily spa session but first we need to cover the basics.
