Majestic Evening

This mare is a 1991 South Carolina-bred Thoroughbred mare. At age 3 she had her first start at Louisiana Downs. She raced through 1994 winning 18K the hard way. In 1998 she produced her first foal, and has since had 12 more. After raising 13 healthy babies, several of whom went on to race careers, this little lady is ready for some rest and relaxation. In the LHRA program she enjoys lazy days in the pasture with fellow retired mares. She is one of those special horses who loves human encounters. She will approach new people in the pasture as though they are an old friend, happy to get a rub or a scratch. What we would most like to give her is the security of a home where she will be fed and cared for long-term. . Majestic Evening has remained unadopted for two years.
